How to mark circular traces?

Quite a typical case which gets me lost. Four white lines which all intersect - which of these intersections might be a vertex?
i am also very puzzled by rings and ovals - and they appear in real data as well, not just simulated data - what is it???
Too many separate white lines - some of them crossing. Not sure if some of these are vertexes.
Not sure how to separate two unrelated white lines crossing from a vertex with backward parts.
One of the vertexes is originating very close to center, but yet not right from the center. Is this something to mark?
