Sorry, don't know which arcs you are talking about. Could you please clarify ?
The purple circle is sadly just an artifact. See the FAQ for more information. Happy hunting!
What do you mean by bounce ?
The green circle is , sadly, just an artifact. Happy hunting
There is no activity in the outer detectors, so no extra muon for me !
Not sure there is an ocv here, but when in doubt : mark it ! 😄
It's a possibility.
Yep, nothing to mark here.
I wouldn't mark anything here either ! Good call.
Maybe one at 2 o'clock
Not sure if there is an ocv in this image.
Lots of collsions but no ocv in tihs image for me.
Correct ! There is no ocv in this image.
Also, did you see the green tag 'simulation' underneath the image ?
Definitely an ocv at 10, not too sure about the one at 2, but you could always mark it just in case ! 😄
Not sure (sorry). There is no 3 branch ocv in slice !
Sorry, no ocv in this image. Please, look at the examples under the image that you are asked to classify to see what an ocv looks like.
The purple circle is sadly just an artifact and should not be marked as weird.
The blue circle is an artifact. No need to mark it as weird. FAQ : https://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np

The blue ellipses are sadly just artifacts and should not be marked as weird.
Sorry,no ocv in this image. You need at least two lines starting at the same point or intersecting to get an ocv.
The yellow dot is, sadly, just an artifact.
The green ellips is sadly just an artifact. See the FAQ for more information.
Happy hunting! 😄
Sorry, no ocv here.
Yep ! See the FAQ for more information : https://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
Lots of usefull information in the FAQ : https://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
Happy hunting ! 😄
and is not a particle track in itself.
From the FAQ : The dashed line represents the direction of imbalance of momentum when all the detected particles are combined,
Not sure I'd mark an ocv here, sorry.
Sorry, the yellow circle is just an artifact. See the FAQ for more information.
That is sadly just an artifact. See the FAQ for more information.
Yep, definitely a weird one! 😄
Yep, just another optical artifact. See here ( https://tinyurl.com/nynwv89) for more information.
The coloured bean is just an optical artifact. See the FAQ ( https://tinyurl.com/nynwv89 ) for more information.
Actually, the muon isn't missing, it is the computer generated line that is missing.
You should just pay attention to the ones that intersect !
Again, sorry, but there is no ocv at 11 o'clock.
Not sure I would've marked any ocv's in his image, sorry.
Not sure I'd mark an ocv in this image ! (sorry)
I'd definitely would've marked these ones as well ! Nice catch ! 😄
I might mark it as an ovc, but I'm not too sure !
Anyway, just mark them if you think it is an ocv ! 😄
Hi metroid34 and welcome to HH ! Happy hunting ! 😄
The small round/elliptical thingies are, sadly, just artifacts ! Have you seen the FAQ ?
The muon is there, it is just the computer programm messing up in not drawing the track ! 😄
You should only mark ocv's not single lines. Have another look at the examples at the bottom of the classifying page ! Happy hunting ! 😄
Sorry, the blue circle is just an artifact ! No need to tag it as weird; See the FAQ for more info !
Ooh ! Nice one ! 😄
Not really through the centre ! 😉
The coloured ellipses/circles are just artifacts and should not be marked as weird. See the FAQ (http://tinyurl.com/zywjcav) for more info.
I hope you marked the blue lines as an ocv ! Nice one ! 😄
Hi frustrated, The yellow circle is just an artifact and should not be marked as weird. See the FAQ :: http://tinyurl.com/jv59dug
The coloured circles are artifacts and are definitely not ocv's. See the FAQ http://tinyurl.com/jv59dug for more information.
That is an artifact See the FAQ for more info : http://tinyurl.com/gmvggca
I think it's an artifact like the circles and ellipses
The muon isn't missing it is the track that is missing ! 😄
The track is missing but the muonvis definitely marked as the red mark.
Ooh, nice one!
If they are parallel lines they are for sure not an ovc ! 😄
Not sure I'd mark this one. It just looks like two lines intersecting.
Yep ! eni219 is right. The colourd circles and ellipses are just artifacts and should not be marked as weird ! (sorry ! )
And as is mentioned in the tutorial : Backward tracks are not supposed to be marked ! 😄
Sometimes the software makes a mistake ! 😉 (there are two muon hits)
The coloured ellipse is just an artifact. See the FAQ for more : https://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
No ocv in this image for me as well ! 😄
The blue circle is just an artifact. See the FAQ (https://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np) 😄
The green circle is just an artifact. See the FAQ (https://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np) ! 😄
I'd mark an ocv at 2 o'clock and the one at 4 in this image.
Why ? 😄
What do you find weird ?
Looks like one ! 😄
No ocv in this image for me !
We're looking for ocv's in these images. Nothing sinister going on !😄
Yes, there are some bending lines in here but they are not what we are looking for ! No ocv's in this image, sorry.
I'd maybe mark the ones going to 1 o'clock, but just to be on the safe side. None of the others are even candidate ocv's, sorry.
Slice view is always hard ! 😄
The weird blue line is (sadly) just an artifact (I think).
Maybe one or two ocv's. But no guarantee ! 😉
It is a prettty messy image but I'd mark a possible OCV here anyhow ! 😄
I haven't met anyone who likes the slice views yet ! 😉
Keep up the good work !
No worries, every image gets to be classified by a lot of people, so these oopsies will get ironed out ! Happy hunting ! 😄
I don't think there is an ocv in this image, sorry.
Sorry, the colored circles or ellipses are just artifacts. See the FAQ for more info.
No ocv for me either ! 😄
Hi !We've all been there ! But don't worry (too much). Every image gets classified by a lot of people,so these 'oopsies' will get ironed out
Sorry, I don't see an ocv in this image.
Colored circles and ellipses are artifacts. No need to mark them as weird. See the FAQ for more info : http://tinyurl.com/hcpr2n9
Sorry, no ocv in this image.
I wouldn't mark them either, sorry !
Not sure if we have ocv's in this image (sorry ! )
See the comments below : possibly a cosmic ray hit !
I'd mark it too !
It isn't easy to see, but I'd mark it too ! 😄
See the comment below : the coloured ellipses and circles are artifacts and you don't need to mark them as weird. Also see the FAQ.
I think I would've marked it. But I'm really not sure !
I'd go for a maybe ! ;-D
Yep ! 😄
Sorry, see the green banner to the right !
The colored ovals and circles are artifacts and should not be marked as weird. See the FAQ for more information.
The coloured ellipses/circles are just artifacts and should not be marked as weird (sorry).
See the FAQ for more info.
The circular or oval thingies are artifacts and should not be marked as weird. See the FAQ for more information.
The coloured circles/ovals are artifacts and should not be marked as weird. See the FAQ for more information.
Doing a happy dance ! 😄
Told you so ! 😄
No worries ! Every image will get classified by lots of people. Just enjoy the hunt ! 😄
Do you mean the single line starting at 8 going to the right bottom corner ? Anyway, single lines are not important here, sorry.
😄 Imagine your surprise when it''s a real ocv !
I would certainly mark it !
I feel your pain ! 😄 No, seriously, that is annoying, but there is not much we can do about it ! I hope you still like classifying though!
The colored loop is an artifact. No need to mark it as weird. See the FAQ for more information : http://tinyurl.com/jvxcfqs
Wow ! This definitely counts as weird ! #punchthrough
Wow ! 😄
The green oval is an artefact. See the FAQ for more information.
It is very clean, but there is nothing to see ! ;D
See this for an explanation :http://tinyurl.com/zvbjx9b
I'd probably only would mark the one at 4 o'clock.
I still think I would've marked two ocv's in this image ! 😄
There is no correct answer ! Just give it your best shot ! And happy hunting ! 😄
That 's the spirit ! 😄
It is your call ! But I'd possibly mark the two white lines going to 1 o'clock as an ocv.
The purple circle is jut an artifact and shold not be marked as weird. See the FAQ.
No ocv in this image. Please check the examples on the classify page : https://www.higgshunters.org/#/classify
Sorry, I don't see any ocv's in this image. Where do you see them ?
Woohoo ! 😄
edit : I meant : great #ocv ! 😉
Have you seen this thread ? https://talk.higgshunters.org/?_ga=1.186314665.1825975777.1449249772#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
A maybe ocv. It looks like it originates in the centre.
Did you see the comments below ? 😄
Not really a missing muon. What is missing is one of the computer drawn green lines.
Could the little one at two o'clock be an #ocv ?
Oh yes ! 😄 #ocv
The red curve in slice is the red oval in normal and it is an artifact.
The green circle is just an artifact (certainly not an ocv! ).
Not sure if I see any vertices oin this image, maybe one at 4c o'clock. Remember a single white line is not an ocv ! 😄
No worries, you are definitely not the first one ! 😄
See the comments below !
Please do not mark single white lines. They are not ocv's
Sorry, no. The colourful circles are just artifacts; See the FAQ : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
Not sure if these are real tracks. They look more like a very elongated ellips (= artifact)
or maybe ocv ? 😉
We are looking for off centre vertices, so anything originating from the centre should not be marked.
I wouldn't have marked an ocv here, sorry.
No need to mark orphaned lines as they are obviously not ocv's ! ;D
The red oval is an artifact. See the Faq : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
If they start at the centre, they are not an ocv.
No ocv here for me. Just single lines.
The purple ring is an artifact. See the FAQ for more info.
The green ring is an artifact. See the FAQ for more info.
The blue ellips is an artifact. See the FAQ for more info. 😄
Both the orange and pink ellips are artifacts. See the FAQ for more info.
Nice ! 😄
We are looking for ocv's. So the two lines in the same direction are not special in any way for this project ! Sorry !
No ocv in this image for me. Not sure what you are asking !
Nope ! See the FAQ. It is just an artifact.
But thanks so much for participating ! 😄
Sorry, there are no ocv's in this image !
I'm not sure I would have marked 7 ! 😄
FAQ : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
The colors are assigned arbitrarily & don't mean anything
The colours are assigned arbitrarily . See the FAQ for more info : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
Really cool one. Too bad it is a sim ! 😉
I wouldn't have marked a vertex here, sorry !
Could be an ocv. Did you notice that this is a sim ?
I would have marked something at 4 ! 😄
Just mark what you see fit !
If you mean the purple ellips. Yes, that is an artefact.
The blue ellips is an artifact. No need to mark it as weird.
Have you read the FAQ (http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np)? Lots of useful info there ! 😄
Again, see the FAQ for more info : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
The red rectangles show up in the blue outer ring, the muon spectrometer.
The yellow ellipse is not real. See the FAQ for more info : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
Not a missing muon. It is just that the programme didn't draw the muon green line ! 😄
Hi jrfs
Have you seen the FAQ ? http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
Hope this helps ! 😄
Hi Quarkdown,
Have you read the FAQ ? http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
I would have marked it ! Nice catch ! 😄
The yellow ellips is better visible in the slice view. But it is just an artefact. No need to mark it as weird ! 😄
I would have marked at least one or two possible ocv's here. Interesting image ! 😄
A single track can by definition never be an ocv. A vertex needs at least two branches.
Textbook ocv ! 😄
I would definitely mark the possible ocv at 7.
And the muons are there alright, it is just that the programme didn't draw the lines !
And the yellow marker is a photon hitting the muon spectrometer. See the FAQ for more info.
The muon isn't missing , see the the red marker. It is just the computer not drawing the green line.
See the Faq : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/D
Hi jedzini, the coloured circles/ellipses are artifats and should not be marked as weird.
Yep, I would have marked that one as well ! Great catch !
Oooh ! Nice ones ! 😄
Hi Claude ! 😄
Nice one ! 😄
Yep ! Nice one ! 😄
Correct ! The colourful circles/ellipses in these images are artifacts and should not be marked !
Not really an ocv in this image for me.
No need to mark single white lines as weird. Thanks ! 😄
I would have marked it too !
Btw, I don't think I would have marked anything here. But that is just me.
Hi,
I don't have access to your classifications. So, if you could just say here what you have marked ?
Single white lines are not vertices and should not be marked.
The colourful circle is an artefact and should not be marked as weird. See the FAQ : http://tinyurl.com/l6udwp7
The colourful ellips is an artefact and should not be marked as weird. See the FAQ : http://tinyurl.com/l6udwp7
I would have marked it as well !
Correct ! The colourful circles or ellipses are artifacts and don't have to be marked as weird ! 😄
The colours of the tracks are just randomly attributed. The two muon trails are green but that is it
I would have marked the orange one too !
off centre vertex It is what we are looking for here ! 😄
See FAQ for more info : http://tinyurl.com/l6udwp7
Not sure if there is an ocv in this image !
I'd mark it as one ! 😄
If you look at the Slice view you can see two coloured ellipses. These are artifacts and should not be marked as weird.
No need to mark the coloured ellipses/rings as weird. They're artefacts. See the FAQ : http://tinyurl.com/l6udwp7
The circle is an artefact. See the FAQ for more on this : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
ocv means off center vertex. So anything that starts in the center is not an ocv.
The green circle is an artefact.
See the FAQ for more info : http://tinyurl.com/l6udwp7
The blue dot is an artefact. No need to mark it as an artefact. See the FAQ for more info : http://tinyurl.com/l6udwp7
The fact that there is a very weird node at the 'intersection' makes me think: definitely not an ocv ! 😄
Weird 3rd muon! 😄
The muons are there, but the computer didn't draw the green lines.
The coloured ellipse is an artifact. No need to mark as weird. FAQ: http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
I'd mark it anyway, just to be on the safe side ! 😄
No ocv, nothing weird, sorry !
I don't think there are any ocv's in this image. Just a lot of single lines. Quite a mess.
Correct. The small orange circle is an artifact and should not be marked as weird.
No ocv in this image.
We are not looking for single lines. We are looking for ocv's. So, that means at least two branches.
The orange ellips is an artifact. See the FAQ for more info.
Ooh nice one ! Did you notice that it is a sim ?
The yellow circle is just an artefact (see the FAQ http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np).
Just click anywhere in the image and then drag the circle to the correct place. That way you can put circles very close together
Ooh, nice one! 😄
Ooh ! Two ocv's and not a sim ! 😄
Or Superman ! ;D
No need to mark single white lines. We are looking for ocv's (off center vertices)
I would have marked this one as well. (btw, did you notice the sim alert ! 😉 )
Yep, I would have marked the light blue ocv as well ! 😄 Did you see this is a sim ?
The purple blob is an artifact&should not be marked as weird.
FAQ http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
I'd mark this one as a possible ocv but I'm not too sure it is ! ;D
Not that uncommon. I have seen it happen before.
The colored circles/ellipses are artifacts and shouldn't be marked.
See the FAQ for more information : http://tinyurl.com/l6udwp7
The yellow rectangle is a photon
See the FAQ for more info : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
It happens sometimes ! 😄
The colored ring is an artifact. No need to mark these. More info in the FAQ http://tinyurl.com/l6udwp7
Did you notice that this was a sim ? Nice catch anyway ! 😄
Nice catch! 😄 And did you see the red one at 9:30 ? The two white lines at 5 don't cross, so no ocv. Btw, this is a simulation!
Hi catlord333 and welcome to Higgs Hunters.
The orange circle is an artifact, so need to mark it.
See FAQhttp://tinyurl.com/l6udwp7
Hi TheSifter and welcome to Higgs Hunters.
The blue circle is an artifact. no need to mark these.
See FAQ : http://tinyurl.com/l6udwp7
Hiya,
It is an artifact and should not be marked.
Hiya, the orange circle is just an artifact and should not be marked.
Correct: it is an artifact and no need to mark it as weird. See FAQ: http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
You are probably referring to the colorful circles. Sorry, they are just artifacts made by an overzealous computer ! 😄
The blue mark is a bottom quark decay.
The blue line is a line that the computer program drew of a low(ish) energy particle. But there are two photons (yellow marks) there !
This one looks really weird (and I know it is a simulation ! )!! Any explanations ?
Agreed ! But lots of people will classify this same image, so any ocv's lurking will get picked up ! 😄
YOU can still mark them as an ocv. I'd hesitate because the backward tracks are fairly long. Just give it your best shot ! 😄
I wouldn't mark the the two lines at 1 as an ocv. But just give it your best shot ! That is all we can ask of you ! Happy hunting! 😄
If you look in "Zoom" , it does look like there are two trails.
Sorry, no ocv in this image for me. Single lines don't count !
Correct ! the colorful circles are artifacts and should not be marked as weird.
Ouch ! ;D (bis)
That is an artifact, sorry !
Nice #ocv at 7:30
Which line are you referring to ? And did you see that this was a simulation !
Nice one ! But did you notice that this is a simulation ?
Sorry, I don't quite understand your question !
But I would mark the #ocv at 8 o'clock.
I thought this one was a sim. Nice surprise it isn't ! 😄
The red oval is an artifact and should not be marked.
See FAQ: : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
#punchthrough ?
Some weirdness here ! 😃
The green circle is an artefact and should not be marked.
Yep ! #weird for me as well ! 😄
#weird
lovely little #ocv 😃
Correct, the ellipses are artifacts and shouldn't be marked as weird.
I would've marked these as well. Did you see this is a sim ?
A couple of nice ocv's but did you see this is a sim ?
Don't think so, sorry.
I'd go for one ocv (the one at 10) and you do realize this is a sim ?
The green circle is an artifact. See the FAQ for more info : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
I would have marked that one in slice as well ! Don't worry ! 😄
The yellow oval is an artifact See the FAQ for more info.
Nice #ocv at 5 past 12
And another nice one! 😃
Have you read the excellent FAQ , : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
So, here, you could have marked the 3rd muon as an extra ! 😄
You nailed the two ocv's in this simulation. There is no triple one, sorry. Two of the green lines, are the usual muon tracks.
I'd mark a couple too ! 😃
looks #weird in normal. Not so weird in slice ! 😉
#weird for me as well ! :d
Now, in this image there is really only one muon.
missing (computer generated) track
Missing (computer generated)track ! 😉
Not missing muons, but extra muons !
The second muon at 6 is very much there. It is just the software not marking it.
The yellow circle is an artifact. See the FAQ ! 😉
The other muon shows up at 10. It is just the computer not marking the second muon track.
Slice always looks messy ! 😉
Meaning ?
Really busy pic ! 😄
Don't think that is something unusual , sorry.
That is an artifact. See the FAQ : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
it's an photon , see the FAQ : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np 😄
I would have marked more than one too ! 😃
#missingmuon
#weird ! 😄
That is not a missing muon but an extra muon.
Probably a cosmic ray !
Lots of energy, but where are the muons ?
Yep, no need to mark single lines ! 😄
Again, I'd mark it as well ! 😄
I'd mark it too ! 😄
The blue ellips is an artifact. No need to mark these.
link to the FAQ : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
FAQ : The calorimeters can detect energy both from charged and neutral particles. This shows up as yellow blocks in the red and green rings.
#missing_muon
The colorfull circles are artifacts.
See the FAQ : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
I was sure this was a sim ! ;D
#ocv
Maybe the two red ones ! 😄
This one defintely qualifies as a weird one! 😄
The muons are there but no green tracks ! 😄
The pink ellips is an optical artifact (see the FAQ : http://tinyurl.com/l6udwp7) No need to mark these.
This one definitely qualifies as a #weird one ! 😄
Sims are not just important in this project. They are incredibly important in almost every Zooniverse project ! 😄
The dashed line represents the direction of imbalance of momentum when all the detected particles are combined,
The orange circle is a an artifact, no need to mark these. See FAQ : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
Brill #ocv ! 😄
And, ooh ! Nice !Two #ocv's
The muon is there, the computer just didn't mark the track.
ooh , nice one ! 😄 Great catch ! 😄
Yep, was a bit pleased with this one myself ! ;D
The red spot at 2:30 is an optical artifact, see the FAQ for more info.
Hi isadora, please check out the FAQ ! 😄 An ocv has at least two branches.
No ocv and nothing weird in this image, sorry.
Yep, nice one ! 😄
What do you mean about the quarks at 2, 3 & 5?
Not sure about any ocv's in this image. Where do you see one ? An ocv has at least two branches.
Wow ! Nice one ! 😄
Ooh , nice one ! 😄
The yellow mark is a photon !
#weird indeed !
Definitely #weird ! 😄
Wow ! nice one ! 😄
Ooh,one definite #ocv and a bottom quark decay !
Or not quite from the centre ! #ocv for me !
Simulation means just that ! It is a simulation ! 😄
The blue elips is an optical artifact , no need to mark these. See the FAQ : http://tinyurl.com/l6udwp7
#missing_muon_track
I had this one in zoom and I also marked the one at 12:30
oh yes ! 😄
And a lot of energy !
The coloured circles are artefacts&should not be marked.See the FAQ :http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
What a #mess !
Two extra muons ?
One bottom quark decay at 5
#ocv and a couple of #bottomquark decays
Lots of usefull info there ! 😄
Very true ! 😄
The blue circle is an artifact and should not be marked.
If there is just one line it is not an ocv and shouldn't be marked as such.
No ocv at 10, sorry. The green lines are not an ocv : for one they start in the center.
Please read the FAQ : http://tinyurl.com/l6udwp7
At 6 o'clock ?
#extramuon and lots of things going on at the top ! 😄
Two photons and lots of energy.
orange #ocv and one #ocv at 9.
Not sure the orange one is an ocv. It looks like it starts in the centre.
#weird. Any ideas about the kink in the green track?
#punchtrough ?
Lots f weird things going on in this one ! ;D
Wow ! Lots of energy ! And at least one #ocv
at least one #ocv ! 😄
You don't mark the oval, you mark the possible ocv ! 😄
Colored ovals are artifacts. No need to mark them.
I'd still mark them as an ocv, even in slice.
The blue block is likely the decay of a bottom quark. See the FAQ : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
The blue mark is the decay of a bottom quark.
Wow, nice one ! 😄
I would have marked that one as well.
The blue things are bottom quarks
Lots of activity here. #ocv
#ocv at 9
at least one #ocv
#punchthrough or #cosmicray ?
I would have marked something there as well ! 😄
What a #mess. I got this one in slice and it looked even worse ! 😄
That is an artefact. See the FAQ : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
#extramuon
#ocv, not a sim ! 😄
missing muon track
extra #muon ?
A couple of possible #ocv's and two bottom quark decays
I'd say yes ! 😄
Unfortunately, it's an artifact ! No need to mark these !
No need to mark the colorful circles or ellipses. Unfortunately, they are artifacts. 😦
Single streaks, probably not connected.
No need to mark the colorful circles or ellipses. See the FAQ : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
#missingmuon, #bottomquarkdecay, #weird
Loads of energy ! 😄
I got this one in slice ! Definitely a #mess ! 😄
Or the computer didn't draw the muon tracks.
What a #mess ! 😄
#missing_muon ?
#cosmic_ray ?
#weird #cosmic ray ?
#bottom_quark
Ooh, nice one !
The loop is just an artefact and should not be marked at all ! 😄
But are the purple tracks connected or is something very confused ! 😄
Have you seen the FAQ http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np?
Actually the muon isn't missing, it is the computer track. ,D
and a couple of extra muon marks (red rectangles),so probably a cosmic ray. Nice catch ! 😄
More info on the colorful markings in the muon detectors here : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
Not sure if there is an ocv here. It looks very messy !
#weird, #cosmicray;
And no muons ! 😄
An extra muon and a bottom quark decay (blue)
The 2nd muon has no marking in the detector. #weird
2nd muon has no red marking.#weird ?
Both muons have the same red marking + a bottom quark decay close by. #weird ?
The blue markings are most likely the decay of a bottom quark. FAQ : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
No muon tracks but 3muons detected. #weird
Lots of energy and two decays of a bottom quark and a photon. Is this weird ?
Nice special effects ! ;D
an extra muon ?
A couple of extra muons ?
Two decays of a bottom quark and a photon (the yellow rectangle) (I think) 😄
Lots of energy and two bottom quark decays.
The other muon shows up in the detector (at 8 o'clock)
Wow ! Lots of energy all round in this image ! 😄
Nice one! 😄
How come the computer missed the second muon ?
Nice one ! I just hope it wasn't a sim. ;D
There is a yellow mark in the green calorimeter, meaning that a photon has been detected. See the FAQ 😄
Two spooky muons and lots of energy ! 😄
Got this one just now ! Very interesting indeed ! 😄
3 muons
#weird. #missingmuon
3rd muon ?
Nice 5+ ocv (not a sim)
Could the one at two be an #ocv ?
very #weird with a possible #ocv
Defintely #messy !
Nice catch !
Wow, I got this on in slice and I would never have guessed this !
Ooh, nice catch ! 😄
What caused the red markings in the muon spectrometer ?
See my previous comments ! ;D
What is with the angle at 7-8 ?
Now that is a lot of energy ! 😄
#3muons ?
The yellow, almost vertical line at 3 o'clock is probably an ellips. So, yes, it's an artifact !
definitely #messy ! 😄
4 muons ?
Any ideas on what happened here ?
Why doesn't the second muon register in the muon spectrometer ?
One muon track, one ghost muon track and a lot of energy opposite them
And I always forget to tag these ones as #weird ! 😮
4 muons detected ? And what is with the one at 5:30 ?
And an extra muon ?
@DZM That is great news !
@glewald : classifying sims is also very valuable. (But classifying real data is so much more exciting ! 😄 )
Nice and clean ! 😄
Thanks ! 😄
#punchtrough or #muonjet
Ooh, really like this one ! 😄 So, what is the explanation ?
extra muon, no track
Missing everything ! 😄
What a #mess, especially in slice ! ;D
I would mark a couple of the crossing lines, just in case. But I'm really not sure these are ocv's. 😄
Definitely #weird !
ocv = off center vertex.
Have you seen our excellent FAQ : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np ? 😄
One ocv and no muons ? 😄
Where are the muons ? 😄
😄
What happened at 4 o'clock ?
I wouldn't mark anything in this image either ! 😄 And have you read the FAQ ? Full of usefull info ! 😄
What a mess ! 😄
Really nice #ocv. i could've sworn this one was a sim ! ;D
I'd mark at least two.
I know it is a sim, but just wouldn't it be amazing to see something like this for real ! 😄
Absolutely nothing ! 😄
The blue circle is an artifact. No need to mark these ! 😄
Slice is very difficult ! Don't worry. Lots of other people will see this same image ! 😄
And a lot of energy ! 😄
I just love these comments ! 😄
I'd mark a couple, just in case ! 😄
I'd mark two ocv's the yellow one at 8 and the green one at 10.
I would have marked the one at 7 in the slice view
I would have marked at least one ! 😄
Third green track muon ?
Zen ! 😄
What are we looking at here ?
one muon, lots of energy on the opposite side. Something weird ?
This one looks very weird in slice !
A lot of energy ! 😄
Nice one! ;D
no muons ? 😄
I'd mark this one for sure ! 😄
1 muon ?
In other words : please discard the loops/elippses/circles 😄
Very good advice ! 😄
I just went for the orange one
looks like one to me.
Got this one today, had the same reaction ! 😄
Have you seen the FAQ : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np ? 😄
I'd mark the white one at 1, but that would be it.
Not really ! The red oval is really out there ! 😄
I marked this one as 'something weird' ! 😄 LOL Maybe even ATLAS has a day off ? 😄
Nothing to mark here for me ! 😄
Correct, no need to mark the red circle, it is just an artifact ! 😄
No need to mark sngle tracks, sorry ! 😄
This probably means it is an overlap of two single lines; But don't worry, I would've marked it as well in normal.
Have you seen the FAQ (http://tinyurl.com/Higgs-Hunters-FAQ) ? It is really helpfull ! 😄
Correct, the yellow oval is an artifact. No need ot mark these. See the FAQ : http://tinyurl.com/Higgs-Hunters-FAQ
Small kink in the blue line. Or am I seeing things ;D
The circle is an artifact. No need to mark these.
No need to mark the colorful circles. Artifacts
http://tinyurl.com/Higgs-Hunters-FAQ
The circles are artifacts. No need to mark these
The circle is an artifact. No need to mark it.
For more info see the FAQ : http://tinyurl.com/Higgs-Hunters-FAQ
Yep, no need to mark single white lines. See : http://tinyurl.com/Higgs-Hunters-FAQ
Single white lines shouldn't be marked. See the FAQ
I'm not an expert, but I'd mark the two branches at 10, just in case.😄
Looks like a single white line to me. No need to mark it. 😄
Yep, no need to mark the colorfull circles or ovals ! 😄
What event are you referring to ?
It could be ! What did you mark in this image ?
I'd mark the two branch at 6:30 and you ? 😄
Ooh, I would definitely mark this one. Nice catch ! 😄
But in slice there are no lines crossing, I would think that that woud be the discerning feature ! 😄
Yep, the colorfull rings or ellipses are artifacts. No need to mark them.
No ocv her for me, sorry.
Could you give a bit more info?
Can these two sprays be part of the same event or not ?
I wouldn't mark anything here either.
The two green tracks are on a straight line. Something special ?
Okay, what are we looking at here ? 😄 Nothing or something ?
I'd mark this one for sure !
I think they really have to touch to be considered an ocv
I wouldn't mark these as the angle is a bit too big.
I think the purple tracks are not tracks at all but a very shallow oval. Meaning it is an artifact.
Tx ! 😄 So, this must be one with the lowest momentum/energy I've seen so far. Anything special (I'm guessing not) ?
Messes are good ! ;D
Really nice curve on one of the blue lines. Any ideas ?
Not every image has an ocv. Good call ! 😄
The two colorful rings are artifacts. No need to mark them. More info here : http://tinyurl.com/Higgs-Hunters-FAQ
Not really. These two vertices were not recognised by the programme ! Nice catcht ! 😄
The colorfull loops/ovals/centers are artifacts and should not be marked.
Nice one 😄
It is your cal! Just give it your best shot ! 😄
No need to mark single branches ! 😄
Hi DigiDong, no need to mark single branches
I'd mark it as one too ! 😄
Not weird, but a lovely #ocv
I think we have got ourselves a couple of ocv's
No need to mark the single branches ! 😄
No need to mark the single branches ! 😄 Happy hunting !
Not a sim. Any ideas? 😄
Not every image has an ocv !
The purple circle is an artifact. No need to mark these. More info here : http://tinyurl.com/Higgs-Hunters-FAQ
See here : http://tinyurl.com/Higgs-Hunters-FAQ 😄
Really nice one (and not a sim ! ;D ),
The two circles are artifacts. No need to mark them
I'd mark at least 3 , but then again that is just me ! 😄
The blue circle is an artifact, no need to mark these ! 😄
ooh, a big one at ten-ish! ;D
i'd go for two ocv's. One at 3:30 and one at 10
Nice catch ! And the computer didn't catch this one ! 😮
I'd mark this as a ocv !
So, there is at least the two of us ! ;D
LOL ! 😄
I'd gone for a three as well.
Well, there is a first for everything ! ;D
The colorful ovals/circles are artifacts. No need to mark these. More info here : http://tinyurl.com/Higgs-Hunters-FAQ
the colorful ovals or circles are artifat. No ned to mark them. More info her e: http://tinyurl.com/Higgs-Hunters-FAQ
Not sure if that is an ocv. It could be just single lines overlapping. But when in doubt, just tag them ! 😄
Yep, as Marcuandy1981 said, no need to mark these colorful ovals/circles. More info here : http://tinyurl.com/Higgs-Hunters-FAQ
The colorful circles or ellipses are artifacts. No need to mark them. More info here : http://tinyurl.com/Higgs-Hunters-FAQ
I see a little red dot of center. Anyway, those dots are artifacts and should not be marked !b
i don't think so ! 😄
The colorful circles or ovals ar artifacts. More info here : http://tinyurl.com/Higgs-Hunters-FAQ
I'd mark this one as a 3 branch ocv
I got this one as a slice view. Not an easy thing, but I got the one at 11!
The colorful circles or ovals are artifact and should not be marked. More info here : http://tinyurl.com/Higgs-Hunters-FAQ
#ocv. Nice catch ! 😄
I would've marked an ocv here as well.
I wouldn't mark the pale blue one.But the 5 branches one at 7 looks pretty good !
It looks as if the yellow one(s) are starting at the center. The white one at 4 looks like it starts a bit off center ! 😄
I see three 2 branches ocv's starting at 9-ish and a 3 branch one at 12-ish. Don't think they are connected.
A very nice ocv ! 😄 Nice catch
I'd just go for two branches.
The circles/ovals are indeed artifacts. No need to mark these. More info here : http://tinyurl.com/Higgs-Hunters-FAQ
Meh, don't think so. Looks like an #ocv to me.
It's a weird one. Could be two single tracks just overlapping.
No worries, lots of people will get this same image to classify ! 😄
Wow, nice catch ! 😄
Where ?
More info here : http://tinyurl.com/Higgs-Hunters-FAQ
ocv or starting at the center ? Anyway, not picked up by the computer ! 😄
Amazing that the computer didn't pick this up !
Where do you see a 10+ ???
Correct, don't mark the single white lines.
wow !
nice one ! 😄
two nice #ocv's 😄
#ocv ?
I see two. The orange one at 9 and the blue one at 7
The red circle is an artifact
It's an artifact. No need to mark these.
two big ones 😄
Lots of them will be single lines. No need to mark these.
Nice one at the top D
How did you mark it ?
Lots of energy bursts
Hi trady. The translations are all done by volunteers.I have no idea if there are plans for a translation, sorry.
The colorful ovals are artifacts. No need to mark them. 😄
nice #ocv
Wow, great catch ! 😄
I wouldn't have marked anything here. But it does look amazing ! 😄
I'd mark the one at 3
with a different view can be very valuable.
Anyway , happy hunting ! 😄
1/2 There is always the training of computer algorithms. Just to see how we have different classifications
Nice #ocv to the right ! 😄
Very ! 😄
I've seen lots without an ocv (sadly ! 😄 )
You can ignore single white lines.
Hiya, these colorful ovals are artifacts. No need to mark them. Happy hunting ! 😄
Does the one at 1 o'clock count as an ocv ?
Do we mark the purple one as an ocv ?
Was what right ?
#ocv 😄
Sorry, you can't go back to make a correction. But don't worry, lots of other people will see this same image,so any errors will get ironed out
Hey tashipoo ! 😄
I'd mark them ! 😄
The yellow circle is an artifact, no need to mark these ! 😄
The purple oval is an artifact, no need to mark these.
The green circle is an artifct. No need to mark it.
Nice one:D
Where do you see them ?
Yippie, I got it right ! 😄
Ooh, nice one !: D
If it one line just crossing another line I would not mark it
I see just one off center vertex. No need to mark the single lines ! 😄
Looks ok to me too. No off center vertex here ! 😄
Artifacts. No need to mark these ! 😄
You can ignore the single white line. Don't know what it means though, sorry.
No need to mark single lines. And don't worry, lots of other people will see this same image ! 😄
I read it after I classified a couple of ellipses as 'weird' ! ;D
It is an artifact, no need to mark it.
Something like this in the field guide would be great 😄
Thank you ! 😄
artifact ! 😄
So, do we mark this as weird ?
But in this view it is clear that it starts off center . How do we catch these in the slice view ?
I got this one as a slice view and there it looked as if all the lines came from the center.
Oops, should've checked the field guide ! 😄
The green line to the left doesn't start at the center, but it is just 1 line. Do we mark this and if yes, how ?
Thanks for the clarification ! 😄
Another "weird" question : Do we mark the pink thingie at 6 o'clock as weird ?
Is it "weird" that the green line bends at the top or is that just an artifact ?
I marked the red one at the bottom , but not the white one to the right. Is tht correct ? Or shoud I have marked the white one as well?
And thanks for participating !
this is a good explanation : https://talk.higgshunters.org/?_ga=2.51318057.16001562.1543350449-230541950.1537540955#/subjects/AHH00002wg

Happy hunting ! 😄
2/2
and is not a particle track in itself.
1/2
Happy hunting ! 😄
Ooh ! Nice one !
Happy hunting ! 😄
Happy hunting ! 😄
Happy hunting ! 😄
No worries, you are definitely not the first one ! 😄
Happy hunting ! 😄
See the comments below !
Sorry, no ocv in this image.
Happy hunting ! 😄
If you mean the purple ellips. Yes, that is an artefact.
FAQ : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
The blue ellips is an artifact. No need to mark it as weird.
FAQ : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
Have you read the FAQ (http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np)? Lots of useful info there ! 😄

The red rectangles show up in the blue outer ring, the muon spectrometer.
The yellow ellipse is not real. See the FAQ for more info : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
Not a missing muon. It is just that the programme didn't draw the muon green line ! 😄
Hi jrfs
Have you seen the FAQ ? http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
Hope this helps ! 😄
Hi Quarkdown,
Have you read the FAQ ? http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
Hope this helps ! 😄
I would have marked it ! Nice catch ! 😄
The yellow ellips is better visible in the slice view. But it is just an artefact. No need to mark it as weird ! 😄
Happy hunting!
2/2
And the yellow marker is a photon hitting the muon spectrometer. See the FAQ for more info.
1/2
The muon isn't missing , see the the red marker. It is just the computer not drawing the green line.

Hi jedzini, the coloured circles/ellipses are artifats and should not be marked as weird.
Yep, I would have marked that one as well ! Great catch !
Oooh ! Nice ones ! 😄
Hi Claude ! 😄
Nice one ! 😄
Yep ! Nice one ! 😄
No ocv in this image for me !
Correct ! The colourful circles/ellipses in these images are artifacts and should not be marked !
Not really an ocv in this image for me.
No need to mark single white lines as weird. Thanks ! 😄
I would have marked it too !
2/2
Btw, I don't think I would have marked anything here. But that is just me.
1/2
Hi,
I don't have access to your classifications. So, if you could just say here what you have marked ?
Single white lines are not vertices and should not be marked.
Happy hunting ! 😄
The colourful circle is an artefact and should not be marked as weird. See the FAQ : http://tinyurl.com/l6udwp7
Happy hunting ! 😄
The colourful ellips is an artefact and should not be marked as weird. See the FAQ : http://tinyurl.com/l6udwp7

I would have marked it as well !
Happy hunting ! 😄
The colourful circle is an artefact and should not be marked as weird. See the FAQ : http://tinyurl.com/l6udwp7
Happy hunting ! 😄
Happy hunting ! 😄
Not sure if there is an ocv in this image !
I'd mark it as one ! 😄
If you look at the Slice view you can see two coloured ellipses. These are artifacts and should not be marked as weird.
Happy hunting ! 😄
No need to mark the coloured ellipses/rings as weird. They're artefacts. See the FAQ : http://tinyurl.com/l6udwp7
Happy hunting ! 😄

Happy hunting ! 😄

Yep ! 😄
Happy hunting ! 😄
Sorry, I don't quite understand your question !
But I would mark the #ocv at 8 o'clock.
I thought this one was a sim. Nice surprise it isn't ! 😄
The red oval is an artifact and should not be marked.
See FAQ: : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np

Ooh, nice one! 😄
Have you read the excellent FAQ , : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np

So, here, you could have marked the 3rd muon as an extra ! 😄
1/2
Meaning ?
Meaning ?
Really busy pic ! 😄
Don't think that is something unusual , sorry.
That is an artifact. See the FAQ : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np
it's an photon , see the FAQ : http://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000001/discussions/DHH00000np 😄

#weird ! 😄
That is not a missing muon but an extra muon.
Probably a cosmic ray !
Lots of energy, but where are the muons ?
#missingmuon
Yep, no need to mark single lines ! 😄
Again, I'd mark it as well ! 😄
Nice ! 😄
I'd mark it too ! 😄

This one defintely qualifies as a weird one! 😄
The muons are there but no green tracks ! 😄
The pink ellips is an optical artifact (see the FAQ : http://tinyurl.com/l6udwp7) No need to mark these.
Happy hunting ! 😄
This one definitely qualifies as a #weird one ! 😄

Yep, was a bit pleased with this one myself ! ;D
The red spot at 2:30 is an optical artifact, see the FAQ for more info.
Hi isadora, please check out the FAQ ! 😄
An ocv has at least two branches.
No ocv and nothing weird in this image, sorry.
#ocv
Yep, nice one ! 😄
What do you mean about the quarks at 2, 3 & 5?
Not sure about any ocv's in this image. Where do you see one ? An ocv has at least two branches.

Colored ovals are artifacts. No need to mark them.
I'd still mark them as an ocv, even in slice.
The blue block is likely the decay of a bottom quark.

Actually the muon isn't missing, it is the computer track. ,D
and a couple of extra muon marks (red rectangles),so probably a cosmic ray. Nice catch ! 😄

Wow ! Lots of energy all round in this image ! 😄
Nice one! 😄
How come the computer missed the second muon ?
Nice one ! I just hope it wasn't a sim. ;D

#missing_muon
#missing_muon
very #weird with a possible #ocv
Defintely #messy !
Nice catch !
Wow, I got this on in slice and I would never have guessed this !
Ooh, nice catch ! 😄
What caused the red markings in the muon spectrometer ?
See my previous comments ! ;D
What is with the angle at 7-8 ?
#weird
Now that is a lot of energy ! 😄
#3muons ?
The yellow, almost vertical line at 3 o'clock is probably an ellips. So, yes, it's an artifact !
definitely #messy ! 😄
4 muons ?
Any ideas on what happened here ?
Nice one ! 😄
Definitely #weird !
ocv = off center vertex.

What a mess ! 😄
one muon, lots of energy on the opposite side. Something weird ?
😄
This one looks very weird in slice !
A lot of energy ! 😄
Nice one! ;D
no muons ? 😄
Yep ! 😄
I'd mark this one for sure ! 😄
1 muon ?
In other words : please discard the loops/elippses/circles 😄
Very good advice ! 😄
I just went for the orange one
A lot of energy ! 😄
looks like one to me.
#punchthrough ?

Well, there is a first for everything ! ;D

i don't think so !

#ocv ?
I see two. The orange one at 9 and the blue one at 7
The red circle is an artifact
It's an artifact. No need to mark these.
two big ones 😄
Lots of them will be single lines. No need to mark these.
Nice one at the top D
How did you mark it ?
😄
Lots of energy bursts
#ocv ?
Hi trady. The translations are all done by volunteers.I have no idea if there are plans for a translation, sorry.
The colorful ovals are artifacts. No need to mark them. 😄
nice #ocv
Wow, great catch ! 😄
I wouldn't have marked anything here. But it does look amazing ! 😄
I'd mark the one at 3
2/2
with a different view can be very valuable.
Anyway , happy hunting ! 😄
1/2
There is always the training of computer algorithms. Just to see how we have different classifications
Nice #ocv to the right ! 😄
Very ! 😄
I've seen lots without an ocv (sadly ! 😄 )
😄
You can ignore single white lines.
Hiya, these colorful ovals are artifacts. No need to mark them. Happy hunting ! 😄
Does the one at 1 o'clock count as an ocv ?
Do we mark the purple one as an ocv ?
Was what right ?
#ocv 😄
#ocv

Nice one ! 😄
I read it after I classified a couple of ellipses as 'weird' ! ;D
It is an artifact, no need to mark it.
It is an artifact, no need to mark it.
Something like this in the field guide would be great 😄
Thank you ! 😄
artifact ! 😄
So, do we mark this as weird ?
2/2
But in this view it is clear that it starts off center . How do we catch these in the slice view ?
1/2
I got this one as a slice view and there it looked as if all the lines came from the center.
Oops, should've checked the field guide ! 😄
The green line to the left doesn't start at the center, but it is just 1 line. Do we mark this and if yes, how ?
Thanks for the clarification ! 😄
Another "weird" question : Do we mark the pink thingie at 6 o'clock as weird ?
Is it "weird" that the green line bends at the top or is that just an artifact ?
nice one ! 😄
I marked the red one at the bottom , but not the white one to the right. Is tht correct ? Or shoud I have marked the white one as well?
