Two muons in the same direction

  • Whoandwhatitis by Whoandwhatitis moderator

Great catch, @Lolive! Looks like a good #punch-through candidate because of all the activity in the muon spectrometer.

The photon at the bottom of Normal view is very energetic (given the length of the yellow rectangle). There's also a #bundle in the same direction as this photon, and a neutrino happens to be in this same area.

I'd say this is a good candidate for the Higgs -> Zγ decay mode.

I've recently posted a discussion about the decay mode in the Science discussion forum here: https://talk.higgshunters.org/#/boards/BHH0000003/discussions/DHH00007lg

    Once again, excellent find!
