Slice view shows big green circle, not connected to straight lines. What caused this?

Well, that's interesting. I'd be tempted to write it off as an artifact, but it looks like real lines.

Definitely would love a scientist's opinion on this!

Definitely still want a scientist's opinion on this one. Artifact? The artifact loops are typically much smaller.

The size of the loop represents the size of the error on the vertex that the software produced so large loops can appear too
