Left side anomaly

  • Peffall by Peffall

I'm fairly new to this site, and I definitely have no idea what I'm doing, but that short particle path on the left side of the image is different from everything I have seen so far.

@Peffall, that looks interesting in Normal view. If you switch to Slice view, you'll find that it appears to originate from a different position. Regardless, I would mark that as an off-center vertex with two branches, if I were classifying this from the Normal or Zoom views.

This is mentioned at the top of the FAQ:

Q: What are we classifying? - A: We are classifying lines that seem to
sprout from a common point that is NOT the center. These are called
    "Off-center vertexes" (OCVs).
