Hello @AGirl177,
There are quite a few different dots with different meanings and they are described in the FAQ.
The greatest portion of the dots are in the grey areas that denote the tracking chamber. Most of these are red or grey dots, and they show where particles have been detected but the lines associated with them have been removed to improve clarity and ease of classification for us. The red and yellow dots on the other detectors have other meanings depending upon which detector they are located in. The size of those dots correlate to the amount of energy that was detected.
